A vehicle crashed into a power pole, closes SR41 for most of the day

ATASCADERO — A vehicle collision at Old Morro Road on Jan. 24 caused State Route 41 to be closed for most of the day, according to Caltrans.
At about 3:21 a.m. a solo driver in a 2015 Mazda 3, collided with a power pole on Highway 41. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Where he was treated and released.
Due to the collision with the power pole, live utility lines were down on the road. The road was closed for most of the morning until about 11:30 a.m. when one-way reversing traffic control near San Gabriel Road was established by Caltrans until a new pole from Pacific Gas and Electric was installed.
