AUSD welcomes two new employees

Lloyd and Lee will be filling new Director and Assistant Director vacancies in Support Services

ATASCADERO – The Atascadero Unified School Board enthusiastically welcomed new employees Kevin Lee and Brant Lloyd at the board meeting on Tuesday evening.

Current Director of Support Services, Stu Stoddard, will be retiring from the district after 21 years in Maintenance Operations and Transportation. Lloyd will be taking over Stoddard’s position as the Director of Support Services and Lee will be the new Assistant Director of Support Services.

Brant Lloyd brings 20 years of experience dedicated to partnering with financial professionals, helping them develop, manage and serve their customers’ interests, according to Curt Eichperger, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at AUSD.

“Mr. Lloyd’s experiences and skill set will be quickly transitioned to support the oversight of District Bond Projects and the Maintenance and Operations Department,” Eichperger said. “He’s looking forward to digging in and continuing to build upon AUSD’s foundation as the District continues to move forward.”

Stu Stoddard, who was originally hired at AUSD in 1989, has been the Director of Maintenance Operations and Transportation (re-named Director of Support Services) since 1997. Pending retirement, Stoddard will be using his 21 years of experience to mentor Lloyd from February 1 to June 30.

Kevin Lee has been working for AUSD as the Irrigation Systems Operator for a year-and-a-half. “Mr. Lee is excited to have an opportunity to expand his impact and ability to support student, staff and community members in his new role as the Assistant Director of Support Services,” Eichperger said.
