Bonnie Jeanne Schaller

Bonnie Jeanne Schaller was born on Mother’s Day, May 14, 1933, to Alice and Vernon Harding, in Bangor, Wis., and left for heaven on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.
Bonnie grew up in this small town — skated much during the winters on the creek and played in it at summertime. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on June 12, 1942, and dedicated her life to Him at Bible Camp the next summer. She was always at the Baptist Church in town. She graduated from Bangor High School in 1951 and went on to La Crosse State where she graduated as a kindergarten teacher in 1955. Music was always a big part of her life and she played seven instruments, later teaching piano. She was happy to be a student pilot and loved flying!
She and Bill (Anthony) Schaller were married on July 17, 1954. They were happily blessed with Barb, Dan, Kay, Jayne, Steven and Sharry. She loved being “Mom,” (later Grandma), but the daily relationship with Jesus Christ was No. 1 in her life!
The young family moved to California in 1961 — loved it there — and most still live there.
Bonnie is survived by husband Bill, and children Barb (Jim) Hindt, Dan (Michelle) Schaller, Kay (Mitch) Miller, Jayne Draper and Sharry Schaller. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Jason, Heidi Hindt and Virgil; Jilian Landan and Zachary Schaller; Steve, Leslie, Brooklynn and Grant Miller; Candace, Brandon, Sierra and Hunter Alisio; Jake Raelynn and Carter Miller; Travis, Shelly and Aria Draper; Greg and Austin Draper.
Bonnie’s parents, two sisters (Alice and Marge), one brother (Vernon Jr.) and Son Steven went on before her. She has been eagerly looking forward to life in heaven and finally made it! Jesus is coming back soon! Are you ready?
The Bible is God’s Word whether you believe it or not.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were no so, would I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at 3 p.m., Atascadero Bible Church, 6225 Atascadero Ave., Atascadero, Calif., for all who wish to attend.
