Carol Wieneke born on May 16, 1941 and passed on to make the angels laugh on Sunday, March 25, 2018, with her kids by her side. She is a mother of four, grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of two with many more who considered her “mother” because of her non-judgmental nature and hysterically unpredictable sense of humor. Everybody loved Carol who possessed the wisdom of a prophet but never took herself too seriously.
Her pride and joy up to her last hour were her kids. Debbie Bridge (Art); Rick Pedrick (Shelley); Denice Snyder (Neal); David Pedrick (Anita). She married Wilbur Pedrick Jan. 1,1959. In November 1976 she met and married Roy Wieneke. After his passing Carol knew exactly what she wanted to do and moved to Sierra Bonita where she enjoyed an invaluable network of friends who looked in on her until the end.
A memorial and celebration of her life has been scheduled for Sunday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Paso Robles Masonic Lodge located at 320 Sherwood Road. Carol was a colorful lady and the families hope is that attendees wear bright colors to reflect her life and personality.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made In Carol’s name to Central Coast Hospice, 253 Granada Drive, Suite D, San Luis Obispo, 93401.
She never lost her wit. She never lost her giggle, she will never lose her place in our hearts. We will all have her footprint planted firmly in our souls. Her eternal hope would be when you think of her, remember a funny story or one of her antics so her memory always triggers joy. Her family can be at peace knowing she will always reach her matriarchal arm from the heavens and continue watching over them.
