SANTA MARGARITA — “Big Bang Theory” star, Johnny Galecki has decided to put his Santa Margarita Ranch on the market for $825,000 according to the Central Coast Realty Group listing. Galecki, who recently was on the “Roseanne” reboot and now on “The Conners,” is expected to take a loss on this property since he originally purchased it for $1.2 million in 2017 according to records.
Galecki’s home located on 4760 Parkhill Road was one of the four destroyed by the 1,600-acre Hill Fire that came through the area in June 2017. His home was cleared and all that is left is an unfilled negative edge pool with seating and panoramic views. As well as a 4,000-square foot barn/workshop with an unfinished two-bedroom apartment inside the shop with its own entrance. Wine operation equipment, tractors, storage tanks, five acres of cabernet grape vines, two acres of zinfandel and various fruit and nut trees dot the 160 acres of the property along with several ponds.
After the fire, Galecki posted a picture on his Instagram hugging and thanking the firefighters.
“Thank you to the brothers and sisters of @calfire It is the profound risks that you accept and the sacrifices you and your families make that keep us safe. Thanks also to the many of you who have reached out in support. It is far from lost on us here.”
