SAN LUIS OBISPO ─ Doug Lipp, retired head of training for Disney University, will join Beacon Economics analysts Chris Thornberg and Robert Kleinhenz on the speaker dais at the 2018 Central Coast Economic Forecast.
The annual event will be held Friday, Nov. 2 at the Alex Madonna Expo Center, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Lipp is a distinguished international consultant, eight-time author, and former head of training at the legendary Disney University. Drawing on his 30 plus years of combined experience at Disney and in private practice, Lipp inspires and challenges hundreds of organizations worldwide. At the Forecast, he will discuss company culture, teamwork and inspiring creative thinking.
Beacon Economics’ founding principal, Chris Thornberg, known for his humorous, no-holds-barred approach to economic analysis, will discuss the national and state economies and how they will affect business on the Central Coast. Robert Kleinhenz, Beacon’s executive director of research, will offer statistical insights on the local economy with a close focus on San Luis Obispo County. The annual forecast event, which last year attracted 500 attendees, begins with continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed by presentations from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Bob Wacker of Wacker Wealth Partners LLC will serve as master of ceremonies.
