Felix Valles was born on March 31, 1926, in Santa Maria, Calif. and passed away on Feb. 7, 2019, at Paradise Valley Care, in Atascadero, Calif.
He served in the United States Navy. Felix was a carpenter by trade; and in his early years, he helped in the restoration of Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. He enjoyed building homes and remodeling. He also worked at Diablo Canyon. Later in his years, he enjoyed his garden and cats. He will be missed by his immediate family, extended family, and many friends who love him.
Felix is survived by his daughter, Linda A. Stevenson; granddaughter, Kelli L. Douglas (Michael); grandson, Jim T. DeVor; grandson, Beau M. Clyburn (Erin); great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Burke; great-granddaughter, Isabelle A. DeVor; great-granddaughter, Madeleine R. Douglas; and great-grandson, Kyden M. Clyburn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha E. Valles; daughter, Connie L. Clyburn; grand-daughter, Cristy W. Clyburn; Mother, Reyna Casares; step-father, Atilano (Charlie) Casares; father, Esequiel Valles; sister, Rosalie Valles; sister, Margaret Valles; and brother, Alfonso Valles.
There will be no services. Felix will be inurned at Chapel of the Roses Reflection Garden in Atascadero, Calif.
