Frances Delia Kuhnle of Shandon, Calif., passed away on Friday, June 20, 2019, at the family ranch at the age of 92.
Frances was born to Frank and Catherine Murray on Sept. 5, 1926, in Los Angeles, Calif.
She worked at GE in Los Angeles before meeting her future husband, Russell Kuhnle of Shandon, Calif. They married in June 1952 and Frances being a city girl settled in for the country life. She always wanted a large family and so they became parents to seven children.
Frances loved animals especially dogs. She enjoyed many different breeds over the years.
Frances was a loving wife and mother. She was a businesswoman who managed the family ranch through some very challenging times.
When Russell died in 1970 from a tractor accident on the ranch and after firstborn child, Charles died, Frances worked at Tenneco in Paso Robles and developed many friendships there.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Rita Murray and her daughter, Mary Kuhnle.
She is survived by her daughters: Denise Kuhnle of Templeton and Patricia Kagele of Clovis and sons: Jeff (Kelly), Joe (Donna) and Frank all of Shandon and grandchildren, Kyrstel, Russell, J.D., Kaylee, Alec, Marissa, Eric, Katie and Jason, and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank France’s doctor, Richard Prier MD and all of her in-home caregivers over the years, especially Marci Palmer, Charlene Paulsen, and Shawnee Frasier.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Paso Robles at 1 p.m.
