PASO ROBLES — Last weekend, Feb. 25 and 26, community members were invited to attend the 2017 Inspired Home, Garden and Gourmet Expo to learn just how possible it is to turn their dream home into a very literal reality.
Held at the Paso Robles Event Center, the trade show is continuously noted as one of the most comprehensive shows of its kind. Not only does it allow vendors the opportunity to get a better idea and understanding of the current market, but it also benefits consumers by showcasing new and recently designed products.
This year’s two-day event offered multiple modern outlooks through a selection of more than 100 home and garden professionals as well as several other special behind the scene-like venues and demonstrations. Exhibitors included general contractors, landscapers, closet organizers, painters, appliance specialists, local restaurants and wineries and more.
Lisa Babb of BabbsScents, a local Scentsy independent consultant, was one of the vendors at this year’s Expo. Babbs distributed wickless candles, warmers, essential oils and a line of fragrance products to help make homes smell amazing and welcoming to visiting guests, Babb said.
Lisa Marrone, of Mobile Oil Change in Paso Robles, was at booth No. 108.
“I (invited) guests and friends to stop by my booth for fun and camaraderie,” Marrone said. “We (had) games to play and prizes every hour. For example, (there was a chance to win) a roadside safety kit and toys for the kids.”
With such a wide variety of booths and vendors to visit with, this year’s Inspired Home, Garden and Gourmet Expo was the perfect opportunity for guests of all ages to make their house a home. Attending one of Inspired’s shows is the overall perfect chance for guests to get that last bit of inspiration for their next home project. Whether they hire a contractor or taste new foods, guests were able to speak with vendors whose mission is to push them in the right direction for a do-it-yourself project.
