Mollie Jane Norton Treece, born on October 24, 1933 in Taft, passed away on August 6, 2017 in Paso Robles at home. She is survived by husband Robert Treece of 66 years; Daughters, Deborah Treece and Diana Stickley; Granddaughters , Teresa King, Kimberly Pleiss, Kelsey Pleiss, and Tiana Howell; eight great grandchildren, and many cousins and wonderful friends.
Mollie grew up and lived most of her life in Paso Robles where she graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1951. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She had several jobs throughout her life, but being a homemaker was her primary job. She loved gardening in her beautiful flower garden. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and making Christmas stocking for family members. She helped out for many years at the Friday night Fish Fries at the Paso Robles Elks Lodge. She also volunteered at the Paso Robles museum. She enjoyed long trips traveling across the U.S. with her husband in their van discovering new places and having great adventures. Also, going to Dixieland Jazz events with friends was a highlight.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, August 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Oaks Hotel located at 3000 Riverside Ave., Paso Robles, California 93446.
Mollie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
