ATASCADERO — Chef Antonio Varia, of Buona Tavola, and the Atascadero Printery Foundation are coming together on Feb. 9 to create a night that involves murder and mystery plus wine and food by Chef Varia.
The volunteers of the Atascadero Printery Foundation will be putting on “Til Death Do We Part- a Murder Mystery Dinner” along with Varia who is preparing a five-course dinner to benefit the Atascadero Printery Foundation.
The Foundation recently purchased the historic Printery — the first civic building completed in Atascadero, and are working to raise funds to bring the old building back to life.
Once complete, the Atascadero Printery Foundation’s vision for the Printery is that it will serve as the home of the arts in the community housing a performing arts theater, media printing on antique equipment and more.
Funds raised at the February dinner, also count as votes in the Dancing With Our Stars competition for Community Star Karen McNamara, who is raising funds by dancing for the Printery Foundation.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 at the Community Church of Atascadero Hall located at 5850 Rosario. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at www.AtascaderoPrintery.org or in person at the Hope Chest Emporium, located at 5800 El Camino Real in Atascadero which is open 7-days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seating is limited for this one-of-a-kind event.
