Poetry and quilting exhibit in April

Atascadero American Traditions: Poetry and Quilting exhibit starts on April 2 at the Atascadero Library. 
An open invitation to the public for the reception Thursday, April 5. The reception is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and will introduce the exhibit. Light refreshments served at the reception. 
Quilters from Almond Country Quilt Guild created the quilts on display. Almond Country Quilt Guild, is a local group that promotes participation in this American craft.
The library is also celebrating National Poetry Month with the help of local writers whose poetry reflects many variations on the American Traditions theme.
The Atascadero Library, located at 6555 Capistrano Avenue. The exhibit continues through May 31.
