Robert James Treece was born on Oct. 14, 1930, in Los Angeles, Calif.; and passed away on Dec. 17, 2018, in Paso Robles, Calif.
He is survived by daughters, Deborah Treece, and Diana Stickley; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mollie Jane Treece.
Bob or Bobbie enjoyed retirement, traveling, and exploring the U.S.A. with the love of his life, wife Mollie. They were involved for many years in the Paso Robles Elks Lodge and was Elk of the Year in 1976 to 1977.
He loved barbecuing for the family and friends. He was a local regular once or twice a week visiting with friends for morning coffee at Vic’s Café.
Reading was a big part of his life and he always had a book. Watching the L.A. Rams and football was a favorite past time.
Working and driving his Willys Jeep was always an enjoyable adventure for him throughout the years. Bob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Shandon Cemetery.
