The California Mid-State Fair has announced six of the 12 acts that will be performing on the Frontier Stage during the fair’s run July 17-28 in Paso Robles —Smash Mouth on July 17; Home Free on July 18; The Man in Black, a Johnny Cash tribute, on July 19; Luis Coronel on July 21; Cantinas Night of Faith featuring Danny Gokey on July 22; and BERLIN featuring Terri Nunn on July 24.
The performances are at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on their respective dates and are free with paid fair admission.
Smash Mouth’s debut album “Fush Yu Mang” was certified DOUBLE PLATINUM and set the table for what most consider their masterpiece, 1999’s brilliant follow-up album “Astrolounge”.
Boasting three top-ten hits (“All-Star”, “Then The Morning Comes”, and “Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby”), sales for “Astrolounge” are nearly double those for their debut, approaching quadruple platinum status.
