Upcoming Paso Basin Cooperative Committee meeting to be held on Oct. 17

PASO ROBLES — The Paso Basin Cooperative Committee invites groundwater users and interested community members to attend their upcoming meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the City of Paso Robles Council Chambers, 1000 Spring St., Paso Robles.

The Cooperative Committee is comprised of representatives from the Groundwater Sustainability Agencies formed over the Paso Basin within San Luis Obispo County and is charged with developing a Groundwater Sustainability Plan in accordance with the requirements of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. The upcoming meeting will focus on drafts of Chapter 4 “Hydrogeologic Conceptual Model” and Chapter 5 “Groundwater Conditions”, as well as initial discussion of potential projects and actions related to achieving groundwater sustainability.
