Virginia Mae Jespersen

Virginia Mae Jespersen passed away Jan. 18, 2018. Virginia (Ginny) was born December 18, 1929 in Daly City, to Herbert and Petronella (Nell) Taylor. Virginia grew up in the Bay area with two brothers and three sisters.  She was a resident of Atascadero for the past 64 years. Virginia along with her husband Chris Jespersen ran Jespersen’s Tire in Atascadero until 2006.
Together Virginia and Chris traveled in their R.V. to many places with their many R.V. friends. They also enjoyed traveling abroad. Virginia is also known for her love of painting many water colors and oil paintings donating her work over the years.
You could find Virginia, in the stands, rooting for her children and grand children in their many sporting events, seldom missing a Greyhound or North County Christian game. Many refs and officials have fond memories of Ginny.
Virginia is survived by her children; Pam Ryan (Mike) and Thom Jespersen (Jamie). Grandchildren; Jesse and Jay Ryan, Christjan, Gunnar and Josie Jespersen, Jennalee Hutchinson, Matt Jespersen. Great Grandchildren Crispin and Greysen Jespersen, Weston and Reed Hutchinson.
Virginia also leaves her sisters, Barbara Wojaske and Marilyn Young along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia was proceeded in death by her husband, Chris Jespersen and son, Gregory Jespersen.
Services will be held Thursday Jan. 25, at Chapel of the Roses Atascadero at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Pine Mountain.
