I love our zoo here in Atascadero and they have a new event coming up that you won’t want to miss. This new event, “Wild About Art” will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Charles Paddock Zoo, located at the Atascadero Lake Park. Visitors will have an opportunity to watch as the Zoo’s animal residents create their own, unique and artistic works of art. Attendees will also be able to create fun arts and crafts too, with opportunities for children to color and paint and much much more! Talented local artists will be on hand to showcase their artwork, which will be for sale.
All demonstrations, workshops and artistic activities at the event are included with the price of general admission. There will also be food and beverages available for purchase during the event.
