Enjoy a delightful evening of wine, brews, ciders, spirits, live music, and attractions at beautiful Lake Atascadero

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, June 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Atascadero Lake Park. The Festival showcases wines, brews, ciders, and spirits from the Central Coast and beyond.

Now celebrating its 26th year, attendees may bring a blanket and a low-back chair to enjoy scenic Lake Atascadero and music by Americana folk singer/songwriter Dulcie Taylor; 3 Drink Minimum, a local band playing country, rock, blues, and classic rock for over 15 years; and DJ Medina Light Show Design. This year, attendees will receive $10 in Festival Bucks to spend on food, art, crafts, or donate to the zoo. “Roar-and-Pour” will allow attendees to taste wine while viewing animals in the Charles Paddock Zoo, the only zoo in San Luis Obispo County.

“We’re excited to bring additional fun factors to the Festival,” said Julie Matthews, Chamber director of membership. “Thanks to Third Wheel Tours, folks can take a free ride around beautiful Lake Atascadero in a modern vintage sidecar. You also won’t want to miss exhilarating axe throwing by A-Town Chop Shop. It’s going to thrill the audience. We’ll offer wine glass painting, and the 805 Selfie Booth and Lola’s Letters will return for fun photo opportunities for attendees. There’s truly something for everyone.”

Additional Atascadero Wine Fest sponsors include Caliber Collision, Chalk Mountain Golf Course, City of Atascadero, Costco, Gold Standard Mortgage, Grocery Outlet, Lucky Oak Laundry, REMAX Success, Visit Atascadero, and Waste Management.

Early beverage participants include 12 Virtues Wine, 915 Lincoln, Absolution Cellars, Ascension Cellars, Ancient Peaks Winery, Apogee Brewing Co., Ballast Point Brewing Co., BarrelHouse Brewing Company, and more.
