SANTA MARGARITA — A vegetation fire has broken out along the southbound side of the freeway just south of Santa Margarita, burning in a northward direction. As of now, fire crews have not yet responded to the scene. California Highway Patrol officers are on site directing traffic. Motorists are advised to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
