Atascadero Chamber welcomes Christina Lefevre Latner to support family-friendly businesses

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of Christina Lefevre Latner to its team as Workforce Development Manager for the SLO County Family-Friendly Workplaces Program.

In her role, Lefevre Latner will help local businesses implement family-friendly practices such as flexible scheduling, caregiving supports, and inclusive workplace policies that enhance employee well-being, recruitment, retention, and long-term organizational performance. She has led similar efforts since 2021, partnering with employers across San Luis Obispo County to advance workplace equity and community stability.

With more than 25 years of experience in public policy, public health, and community-based systems change, Lefevre Latner has worked with the SLO County Public Health Department, lectured at Cal Poly’s Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department, and consulted with local organizations on equity and systems-level solutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and a master’s in public policy from Cal Poly.

Christina currently resides in North County with her husband, two children, and two pugs, Max and Bruno, and serves as President of AAUW Atascadero and on the board of Friends of the Atascadero Library.
