ATASCADERO — The City of Atascadero Community Development Department will host its monthly “Coffee with a Planner” session at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Malibu Brew Coffee.
This month’s discussion will focus on storm preparedness and will include staff from the Atascadero Public Works Department.
The informal sessions are held on the third Thursday of each month and provide an opportunity for residents to talk with city staff about land use, zoning, city policies and development projects. Each meeting features a specific topic, but staff are available to address other community questions as time allows.
The city describes the gatherings as a casual opportunity for residents to learn about projects and issues affecting Atascadero, share ideas and provide ongoing community input.
Residents are invited to attend and support the local coffee shop by purchasing coffee or tea.
