Atascadero to offer Sunday aquatics program through August

ATASCADERO — The City of Atascadero is extending summer swimming opportunities with its Sunday Aquatics Program, offering recreational swimming, lap swimming and private lessons throughout August.

The program began Aug. 2 and will continue each Sunday through Aug. 30 at the Atascadero Municipal Pool.

Beginning Aug. 9, the schedule includes:

• Rec & Lap Swim: Noon to 2:45 p.m.

• Private Lessons: Session 1, 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.; Session 2, 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Drop-in admission for lap and recreational swim is $5 per participant. A 10-visit swim pass is available for $45 and may be shared among family members for both lap and recreational swimming.

Private lessons cost $191 for Atascadero residents and $210.10 for non-residents.

Swim lesson registration is available online through the City's recreation registration portal. Passes and drop-in swims may be purchased in person at the Colony Park Community Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Swim passes must be purchased in person, while drop-in fees may also be paid on-site by cash or check.
