Beverly Jean (McIntosh) Thomas went home to be with Jesus on December 29, 2025. She was 89 years old.
Beverly was a long-time resident of Paso Robles and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Paso Robles. She and her husband Bob Thomas, retired Captain with the Downey Fire Department, raised their three children in Downey before moving to Paso Robles in 1996 to enjoy retirement life.
Beverly McIntosh was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 19, 1936, the only girl with six brothers. She arrived in Downey from Cleveland in 1956 at the young age of 20 by herself and by bus during the booming era of Aerospace Aviation and quickly started working at American Rockwell, the home of the Apollo Space Program. She met her husband Bob Thomas on a blind date, and a year later, the two married in 1958. They bought their first home in Downey for $11k! They called Downey home for 40 years, raising their three children before relocating to Paso Robles.
Beverly's favorite pastime was traveling in their 5th-wheel across the country, numerous cruises, but most especially, spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Beverly and her husband Bob spent 67 wonderful years together.
Beverly is survived by her husband Bob, along with three children, Kelly Crowell, Karyn Flutts, and Charles Thomas, 10 grandchildren, and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
She and her husband Bob leave a legacy of family that will forever treasure so many beautiful memories.
Memorial services will be planned at a later date in Paso Robles, CA.
