Burn Season Now Closed in Atascadero

ATASCADERO — Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services has officially closed the 2025 Fire Hazard Reduction Burn Season as of today. Residents are urged to use alternative disposal methods, such as the Waste Alternatives green waste container or the Chicago Grade Landfill. Burning should only be considered a last resort.

Citations will be issued for any violations of local burn regulations, which are available at atascadero.org/fire
