Central Coast Zoo Hosts 'Holiday Magic' Event Dec. 20

ATASCADERO — The Central Coast Zoo invites the community to celebrate the season at "Holiday Magic" on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Visitors can watch zookeepers deliver gifts to the animals, from meerkats and lemurs to monkeys, while enjoying holiday music and magic by Andy Morris. Santa Claus will also be on-site to greet guests. The Central Coast Garden Railroad Society will display a festive model railroad, adding to the holiday atmosphere.

The zoo is decorated for the season, making it a perfect family outing. Guests interested in supporting the animals can donate to the Zoo’s enrichment wish list via Amazon to help provide special gifts for the critters.

Holiday Magic activities are included with regular admission. Visitors can also browse the Zoo Gift Shop for stocking stuffers or consider a Zoo Membership as a holiday gift.
