Children Art Camps offered this summer

Local artist Keshet Lavoux to be running sessions at her home
ATASCADERO — Keshet Lavoux Children's Art Studio is providing Children's Art Camps this summer. The camps will be offered from June 13 thru July 21 and are located at artist Keshet Lavoux's Atascadero home.
The art camps will go from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, and are run completely outdoors. Boys and girls, ages 6 and up, are welcome to attend.
The summer camps will include different art mediums like acrylic painting, crafts, papier-mâché, mod podge, and collage art, each centered around that chosen week's theme. There will also be thematic games for the kiddos to enjoy.
"I saw a need in the community, and it [Keshet's art program] has been growing the last three or four years," Lavoux said. "Now my children help me, so it's kind of like a family business that we do."
While a few of the five weeks offered are already sold out, and others have limited availability, there are still plenty of Keshet Lavoux Children's Art Studio's Summer Art Camps for Kids left to choose from.
Available camps left include:
- Let's Go Camping and Beach Days from June 13 thru June 16.
- Session 2: American Girl Doll Camp from July 11 thru July 14.
- Oh La La Paris from July 18 thru 21.
