Cinders Blues Band to close out Atascadero’s Saturday in the Park series

ATASCADERO — The Cinders Blues Band will close out the City of Atascadero’s “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand.

The free concert is sponsored by Oakview Village Christian Senior Living and will feature blues, soul and rock music, with vocals from Brett Hoover, who has performed blues in the area for 35 years. The band also includes guitarists Bayley Bagby and Dorian Michael, bassist Ken Hustad and drummer Dean Giles.

Huatulco Tacos and Paradise Shaved Ice will be on-site offering food for purchase.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a low-back chair. The concert is free to attend.
