ECHO hosts 14th Annual Long Walk Home fundraiser

ATASCADERO — ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) will hold its 14th Annual Long Walk Home on Saturday, September 20, at the ECHO Atascadero Campus, 6370 Atascadero Ave. Check-in begins at 10 a.m., with the walk starting at 11 a.m.

The event raises funds and awareness for ECHO’s programs supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness on the Central Coast. Participants will walk through downtown Atascadero to symbolize the journey toward stability, returning to the campus for a BBQ, live music, and community celebration.

“This event is a celebration of the incredible journeys our clients have taken—families with children, as well as individuals who have faced homelessness for years”, said Wendy Lewis, CEO at ECHO. “With 310 people already moving into homes of their own this year, we’re not only continuing at a record-breaking pace, we’re witnessing lives being transformed every day. With the support of our community, we’re helping end the cycle of homelessness—one person at a time.”
