As we step into the new year, there's no better time to equip your business with the resources and support it needs to thrive. Whether you're starting the business you’ve been dreaming about or growing your current business, the Atascadero Chamber has five key resources you need for success.
For Businesses Just Getting Started
Starting a business can feel overwhelming, but our team at the Chamber has created a detailed Business Startup Guide to simplify the process. This step-by-step resource walks aspiring entrepreneurs through every crucial phase of launching a business. It’s completely free, and you can access it at AtascaderoChamber.org
Financial Support For Your Business
Finding funding to start, grow, or maintain your business is challenging; luckily, you don’t have to do it alone. One of the most valuable resources the Atascadero Chamber offers is a curated grant portal featuring funding opportunities ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Updated regularly, this resource will help your businesses access capital without the burden of traditional loans.
Professional Legal Support
Navigating legal requirements is a critical aspect of running a business. That’s why our Chamber has partnered with LegalShield to offer affordable legal services covering common business legal matters. Enroll in Small Business Protection Plans, Legal Services Plans, and more. Business owners are encouraged to explore all options that best suit their individual needs, and our Chamber team can help connect you with other Chamber Members beyond LegalShield who offer services.
Find Support For All Aspects Of Your Business
If you’re in need of general business support like connection to business consultants, job developers, layoff aversion, tax credits, and more, the Chamber can help. We have an entire department focused on providing Business Services. You can even purchase your labor law posters from us. Eryk, our Business Services Program Manager, connects you with the support you need to start or grow. Email Eryk@atascaderochamber.org to learn more.
Connection & Workspace
For entrepreneurs and businesses needing professional workspace, the Chamber developed North County’s first coworking space right here in downtown Atascadero. Bridgeworks Coworking offers flexible office solutions, including:
- Daily coworking passes for $25.
- Monthly coworking desk memberships or private offices.
- Conference room access and event hosting space.
We created Bridgeworks Coworking to quite literally bridge the gap and connect people with their ability to do their best work. It also creates an ideal environment for new business owners, remote workers, and established companies seeking a collaborative workspace.
Bridgeworks Coworking isn’t the only way business professionals can connect and build valuable relationships. We offer monthly Business Mixers across Atascadero to foster the collaboration and connection that networking can bring. Can’t make it to our mixers? We host a variety of programs from the State of the City to Women of Influence North County (wINC) Luncheon with the goal of celebrating, informing, and connecting local businesses.
Just Do It
You owe it to yourself to pursue your passion. Whether you're ready to launch your business in 2026 or seeking resources to take your existing company to the next level, our team at the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce is ready to support your journey.
