SLOPD Phone Scam Warning

SAN LUIS OBISPO - On Wednesday, July 29, the San Luis Obispo Police Department released a warning regarding a phone scam. The department stated they had received several reports this week from citizens who have been called by scammers posing as SLOPD detectives from the number (805)781-7317. 

The callers are pretending to be cops to steal personal information. SLOPD warns - do not provide any information to the callers; simply don’t answer or hang up. You may report the scam call via our online reporting at slopd.org
