At-risk missing 92-year-old Santa Margarita woman safely located

SANTA MARGARITA — A 92-year-old at-risk missing woman has been safely located and reunited with her family after briefly going missing in Santa Margarita.

According to authorities, Ruby Hamane was reported missing after she was seen walking away from her residence on May 10. On the morning of May 11, she was found by neighbors in the 5600 block of Park Hill Road, just a short distance from her home.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, where Hamane was evaluated by medics and provided care before being reunited with her family.

Officials confirmed the situation ended safely and thanked community members for their assistance in locating her.
