ATASCADERO — The City of Atascadero has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the design and installation of holiday lighting in the trees at the historic downtown Sunken Gardens. The project aims to transform the park into a festive environment, with lighting designs that complement Historical City Hall as a seasonal backdrop.
Interested contractors are invited to submit written proposals by Tuesday, March 31, at 5 p.m. The selected contractor will be responsible for design, installation, maintenance, removal, packaging, and transport of all holiday lighting features, which will remain the property of the contractor. The initial contract term is one year, with options to extend up to three years in one-year increments.
A voluntary pre-bid site visit will take place on Wednesday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at City Hall, 6500 Palma Ave., offering interested firms an opportunity to view the site and ask questions of city staff.
