ATASCADERO — With the start of the school year, Atascadero FFA is thrilled to announce the beginning of its 2024-25 season and proudly introduces the Atascadero community to the new officers who will lead their chapter this year. New officers are elected every May, and this year’s team is eager to make a lasting impact.

The 2024-2025 Atascadero FFA Officer Team is as follows:

  • President: Lucas Pulse, a fourth-year member.
  • Vice President: Elizabeth Wagster, a fourth-year member.
  • Secretary: Gabby Ferrie, a third-year member, who will also serve as the San Luis Obispo Sectional Vice President.
  • Treasurer: Jesse Smith, a third-year member, who will also serve as the 2024-25 San Luis Obispo Sectional Sentinel.
  • Reporter: Analisa Jorgensen, a fourth-year member.
  • Sentinel: Cherish Cathey, a third-year member.
  • Historian: Maddie McKee, a third-year member.

It is the responsibility of these elected officers to support chapter members, lead committees based on their respective positions, ensure a positive FFA experience for all and represent the chapter in public affairs.

“We plan to make this a year to remember for Atascadero FFA. I look forward to a successful and great year,” said Pulse, a senior at Atascadero High School.

This officer team has already started their year of service on the right foot. In late May, the team spent two days on an overnight trip where it worked on plans for the year ahead and participated in team bonding activities, such as an escape room and a blindfolded cake-baking competition. The officer team also participated in the Templeton 4th of July parade, representing its chapter on the Atascadero Hay & Feed float.

The first official event of the year was an ice cream social hosted by the Atascadero FFA leadership and officer team. Held during lunch at Atascadero High School, this event invited all students to meet the current officers, play fun games and icebreakers, learn about their local FFA chapter, and enjoy delicious ice cream. The event was a great success with an impressive turnout.

The Atascadero FFA Chapter officer team would like to thank everyone who supports the chapter and extend their gratitude in advance to all those who will make this year truly one to remember.
