A-Town Get Down returns to Downtown Atascadero

ATASCADERO — Downtown Atascadero will once again come alive with music, food, shopping, and community spirit during the A-Town Get Down Block Party on Friday, June 26, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Hosted by the Merchants of Downtown Atascadero, the free event marks one year since the completion of Downtown Atascadero’s revitalization project and celebrates the continued growth of the city’s downtown district.

A centerpiece of this year’s event is the inaugural Battle of the Musicians competition, featuring 16 performers stationed throughout downtown. Attendees can stroll between businesses, enjoy live music, and vote for their favorite act. The winning musician will earn a featured performance spot at a future downtown event.

Participating businesses will remain open late and host pop-up vendors, special promotions, and activities. Additional attractions include food trucks, a family-friendly Kids Zone near Little Cousins, and participation from Garden City, an upcoming downtown destination.

A community flash mob is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Entrada Avenue, adding to an evening designed to showcase local businesses, musicians, and community connections.

Admission is free and open to the public. Maps showing musician locations and voting information will be available throughout downtown and online.
