Atascadero Library announces April programs for kids and adults

ATASCADERO Atascadero Library, located at 6555 Capistrano Ave., is offering a variety of children’s and adult programs throughout April.
Children’s Programs
- Storytimes: Wednesdays & Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.; Bilingual Storytime Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for ages 5 & under, featuring stories, songs, and interactive fun.
- Paws to Read: Read to a therapy dog on Thursday, April 2, and Thursday, April 16, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
- Kids’ Craft Club: Make an Earth Day craft on Tuesday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m., for ages 6-12.
- Pacific Wildlife Care: Meet rescue animals and learn about their care on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. for all ages.
- LEGO Club: Create Lego projects on Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m. for ages 5-12. Registration required.
Adult Programs
- TMHA Library Outreach: Get connected with resources such as healthcare, recovery support, food, shelter, and more. Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2 p.m., no appointment needed.
- Between the Lines Book Group: Discussion of "The Honey Bus" by Meredith May on Saturday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m.
- Earth Day Film Screening: Watch the documentary "Feeding Tomorrow" by Oliver English on Tuesday, April 21, at 3 p.m. (run time 1 hour, 20 minutes)
- Memory Lab Orientation: Learn to digitally archive home media including VHS, photos, audio cassettes, 8mm film, slides, and negatives. Sessions are Saturday, April 11, at 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday, April 28, at 4 p.m. Registration required.
