Atascadero Optimist Club Donates $1,000 to Teens4Teens

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Optimist Club donated $1,000 to Teens4Teens at its February 10 meeting at the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. The funds were raised through the club’s annual Festival of Trees fundraiser, held Nov. 22, 2025, at Atascadero Lake Pavilion.

The donation was presented to Teens4Teens co-founder Jeff Long and will support the nonprofit’s mission to provide peer encouragement, resources, and community support for teens facing mental health challenges.

“Supporting young people is at the heart of what Optimists do,” said Nancy Spitzer, member of the Atascadero Optimist Club. “Teens4Teens provides meaningful support to teenagers and helps them realize that others understand what they are going through.”

The Festival of Trees has become a signature event for the Optimist Club, raising funds to benefit youth-focused programs across North San Luis Obispo County.
