ECHO Hosts Winemaker Dinner

PASO ROBLES — El Camino Homeless Organization (ECHO) will host its 3rd Annual Winemaker Dinner, “Vines that ECHO,” on June 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Copia Vineyards and Winery.

The fundraising event will feature a four-course dinner prepared by Chef Rachel Ponce of Pair With, with wine pairings from participating wineries, including Copia Vineyards & Winery, Ciento Cellars, and The Royal Nonesuch Farm, along with a beer pairing from Cellar Fermentation.

Organizers said winemakers will also join guests at tables throughout the evening to share insight into their craft.

Proceeds will support ECHO’s “Building Hope & Home” campaign and the development of the Balay Ko Family Resource Center at the organization’s Atascadero campus. The expansion is expected to add 30 beds for families with children as demand for shelter services continues to grow across San Luis Obispo County.

ECHO CEO Emily L’Heureux said construction on the modular project is already underway and moving quickly, with the new facility expected to open in early fall 2026.

The project is part of ECHO’s broader 25th anniversary efforts to expand housing support services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The evening will also include a live auction featuring local experiences and travel packages across the county.

A representative from Copia Vineyards said the event reflects a shared commitment to community support and long-term solutions for housing insecurity.
