ECHO welcomes two new members to Board of Directors

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — El Camino Homeless Organization, commonly known as ECHO, has announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Brian Terrizzi and Randy Harding.

Terrizzi is the owner of Giornata Winery and ETTO Pasta Bar, while Harding owns Sky River RV.

According to ECHO, the organization’s 14-member board is made up of leaders from across San Luis Obispo County who help guide the nonprofit’s mission of supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Harding has been involved with ECHO for years as a volunteer and supporter, regularly serving meals alongside his family and helping support fundraising efforts through Sky River RV.

Terrizzi first partnered with ECHO through ETTO Pasta Bar by donating pasta to the organization’s meal program. ECHO said he later became an active advocate for the organization while also supporting the SLO Food Bank.

“Etto has proudly supported ECHO through pasta donations for years — fighting food insecurity is one of our company's missions. As I learned more about ECHO I was struck by how successful the organization is compared to similar organizations around the state and nationally," Terrizzi shared. "This speaks to the hard work of their great team and the wonderful support from our community and the countless volunteers who help make ECHO so successful. It was very flattering to be asked to join the board and I look forward to contributing in as many ways as possible. I truly believe that ECHO is a special organization that can serve as a model to address the very serious problem of housing insecurity that affects countless families.”

Harding said serving meals at ECHO has become an important way for his family to give back to the community.

“Serving at ECHO has been a meaningful way for our family to give back to the community," Harding said. "Providing meals is something we can all do together, each of us plays an active role in planning, preparing and serving the meal together. We are so thankful for ECHO and the strong organization it is. I’m truly grateful that we can be a part of it.”

ECHO officials said both men bring community leadership, experience, and a shared passion for service to the organization’s board.

The nonprofit also released its current executive committee roster, which includes Nick Edney as board chair, Kara Woodruff as vice chair, Eric Yun as treasurer, and Kyle Flaherty as secretary.
