Food Truck Weekends return to Atascadero Lake Park through September

ATASCADERO — The City of Atascadero and the Central Coast Zoo have launched Food Truck Weekends at Atascadero Lake Park, offering visitors a variety of local food options every weekend through Sept. 27.

Food trucks will be on-site from noon to 4 p.m., giving guests a convenient place to grab lunch or a snack while visiting the zoo, enjoying the lake, riding paddle boats, fishing, or spending time in the park. Organizers say the program is designed to enhance the visitor experience while showcasing local food vendors.

The June and July lineup includes Quesadilla Gorilla on June 20-21, Mary's Cuisine on June 27-28, July 11-12, and July 25-26, and Huatulco Tacos on July 5. No food truck is currently scheduled for July 18-19, and interested vendors are encouraged to apply through the city.

The July 5 food truck appearance coincides with Atascadero’s annual Fourth of July Music Festival, which will feature additional food and beverage options throughout the event. Organizers plan to announce the August and September food truck schedule at a later date.
