ATASCADERO — Get ready for two magical nights under the stars as the City of Atascadero presents Summer Movies in the Park, featuring two family-friendly blockbusters: “Moana 2” on Friday, June 13, and “Mufasa” on Friday, July 11.
Both events will take place at Colony Park Softball Field #2, located at 5599 Traffic Way, next to the Colony Park Community Center. Evening activities kick off at 7 p.m., with games like chalk art, sack races, mini-soccer, and more. Movies begin approximately 15 minutes after sunset.
June 13: “Moana 2” (PG): Moana and Maui set sail again with a bold new crew to explore uncharted waters and fulfill a calling from her wayfinding ancestors.
July 11: “Mufasa” (PG): This powerful prequel follows the early journey of Mufasa, the future Lion King, and his unlikely bond with Taka, a lion prince with secrets of his own.
Admission is free and open to all ages. Food vendors will be onsite, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and low-back chairs for comfort.
