Two Atascadero residents are currently reported missing after being overdue from a return trip around Wofford Heights, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

The men are both 20 years old, Calum Gower and Cameron Goldensmith, and were last heard from on Monday, March 9 at noon. They were reported staying at a cabin in Wofford Heights and expected back on Monday afternoon.

Gower and Goldensmith were driving a lifted dark green 1999 Toyota 4Runner with white front fenders and license plate 4GSS403.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a search and rescue with air support from the Kernville to Glenville areas.

A response from the KCSO officer as of 2:27 p.m. reported the boys still considered missing, stating “The search is still underway with Search and Rescue, Air Support and deputies.”

UPDATE: As of 2:35 p.m. the boys were reported to be found via one of the mother’s social media pages.
