Extended elections hours in SLO and Atascadero on Election Day

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — The County of San Luis Obispo Clerk-Recorder’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, March 5, due to the Presidential Primary Election. Instead of regular business hours and activity, the office and the Elections Window will be open to the public for election services only.

The Clerk-Recorder will have a single staff member processing electronic recordings on March 5. Because of this, e-recordings may be delayed, so users are asked to please allow for the two-hour turnaround time for e-recordings after submission.

In addition, the Clerk-Recorder phone line (805-781-5080) will be directed to voicemail during the closure, so anyone needing to contact processing staff should email the following address: emailCR_eRecording@co.slo.ca.us.

The counter will be closed for all in-office recordings and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6.

Also, due to the Presidential Primary Election, the Elections Offices in both San Luis Obispo and Atascadero will have extended hours and will be open this weekend:

8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 4

7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5

San Luis Obispo

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, March 4

7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5
