ATASCADERO — Get ready to kick off the Spring season with some fun and friendly competition in the Adult Social Kickball League, brought to you by the City of Atascadero. Team registrations are now open, but don’t wait — the registration deadline is February 16.

Embrace your inner fourth grader and gather your friends to form a team for this exciting league! Games will take place on Wednesday evenings at the Paloma Creek softball fields. The season is slated to start with games on Wednesday, March 13, and run through Wednesday, May 1, totaling eight evenings of action-packed matches.

Each game will consist of seven innings or one hour, whichever comes first, ensuring fast-paced and engaging gameplay. Teams will be co-ed, and registrations are accepted for entire teams only, with a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 18 players per team.

Before the season kicks off, there will be a team manager’s meeting held during the week before games begin; the exact time and date will be determined and communicated to all registered teams.

League fees are $421 per team, with a nominal fee of $5 per player for non-residents. Additionally, for teams with eight or more non-resident players, there is an additional 10 percent fee of $42.10. Registration and fees must be submitted in person at the front desk of the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
