Atascadero senior Anneline Breytenbach is the Atascadero News and Paso Robles Press Girls Tennis Player of the Year for her performances this year going 26-1 in the regular season and helping lead the Greyhounds team to the CIF Central Section semifinals. Breytenbach only lost four individual matches in her senior season, three of which came to the eventual undefeated CIF Central Section singles champion Payton Dunkle. 

The senior finished the season at 32-4 overall and battled into the CIF-CS individual tournament semis in a three-set, come-from-behind, must-watch match. After dropping the first set 6-1, Atascadero’s No.1 turned it around and won each of the next two sets 6-3, 6-3 to advance.
