ATASCADERO – Atascadero High School will hold a championship parade this Wednesday, December 21, to celebrate the achievements of both the Greyhound football team and Frannie Perry. The parade is set to begin at 2:10 PM according to AHS Athletic Director Sam DeRose and the route will start at Olmeda and will end downtown at City Hall.

The parade will celebrate the achievements of the Greyhound football team who won the CIF Central Section Division 5 Championship over Pioneer Valley 27-13 on November 25. The Hounds then went on to win the 6-A State Championship over San Gabriel 41-0 last Saturday. Joining the boys in the celebration will be sophomore standout runner Frannie Perry who took home first place in the Division 3 Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno on November 26.
