SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — Local baseball teams across the Central Coast are in need of umpires after the Central Coast Athletic Association (CCAA) has ended its relationship with the Los Padres Baseball Umpires Association (LPBUA).

After back-and-forth discussions and disagreements on fees for umpiring in upcoming games, the CCAA officially ended their relationship with LPBUA as of 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10.

With baseball season nearing opening day, umpires are needed for Southern Section baseball games.
