Tickets on sale for 13th annual Brew at the Zoo fundraiser in Atascadero

ATASCADERO — Tickets are now on sale for the 13th annual Brew at the Zoo, a fundraising event benefiting the Central Coast Zoo and its wildlife conservation and education programs.

Hosted by the City of Atascadero and the Central Coast Zoo, the 21-and-over event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the zoo.

Guests will enjoy tastings from regional craft breweries, wineries, cider makers, distilleries and seltzer producers, along with a special welcome reception featuring select beverages available while supplies last. Live entertainment will include performances by the Andrew Sedley Jazz Trio and The Vibe Setters, plus games, contests and prizes hosted by emcee Chris of Subtone Records. Food will also be available for purchase.

All attendees will receive a commemorative tasting glass, and event T-shirts will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support the zoo's ongoing conservation, education and animal care programs. The Central Coast Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and is home to nearly 65 animal species, including red pandas, meerkats, monkeys, fossa, parrots and reptiles.

Advance tickets are $45 per person, with designated driver tickets available for $15. If the event does not sell out in advance, admission will increase to $55 on the day of the event.
