Atascadero Chamber of Commerce “Speakeasy” Gala and Awards Virtual Event Tickets on Sale

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala and Awards is scheduled as a virtual event on Saturday, Apr. 17 at 7 p.m.

This year the Chamber is excited to announce that Nina Lozano, co-anchor with KSBY News, will be the Master of Ceremonies. Lozano is originally from the Philippines and a proud graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications.

Lozano joined the KSBY News team in October of 2020; before moving to the Central Coast, she spent three years at KTNV-TV, the Scripps-owned ABC affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was an anchor and reporter. Before that, she worked as a reporter in Rochester, New York.

“Being a part of this community makes me proud to call the Central Coast home,” Lozano said.

The Chamber said that Lozano will bring excitement and energy to the virtual Gala program to make the community feel like they are celebrating all together even though it is online.

This year’s theme “Speakeasy Night,” is said to be full of fun and excitement right from the comfort of your own home.

The Chamber has planned an evening for all to enjoy, from the dynamic local speakers, fantastic local entertainment, and an interactive silent auction, it will be an exciting and fast-paced event that is open to the entire community.

Like previous years, the Gala will feature awards for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year, all of whom have yet to be announced.

“Due to the uncertainty of being able to meet in person, the Gala is moving forward virtually with a ‘speakeasy’ theme,” Josh Cross, Interim CEO of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce, said. “We wanted a theme that felt reflective of the times in the sense that we are asking folks to safely celebrate in their own homes while participating in an event that will support the economic future of our community.”

Attendees can select from three themed ticket options ranging from $25 to $125.

The ‘Moonshine’ ticket includes a raffle ticket for an item valued at $350 or more.

The ‘Side Car’ ticket includes a raffle ticket, a take-out charcuterie platter, baguette, and bottle of wine.

In addition, the ‘Sidecar’ ticket now includes a fresh baguette from Hush Harbor Bakery and a large charcuterie box from Ancient Peaks Winery.

The ‘Bees Knees’ package includes a raffle ticket, take-out dinner for two, and a bottle of wine.

Three fun VIP experiences from Alta Colina Winery, Wild Fields Brewhouse, and Forager Spirits will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of the Gala and hosted by the owners of the businesses.
