ATASCADERO — Around 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5, a house fire broke out in Atascadero at 8660 Portola Road.

Atascadero Fire and Emergency Services were on the scene with two engines and received additional support from Templeton Fire, CAl Fire, and Paso Robles Fire that contained the fire quickly.

A firefighter was seen carrying a dog from home; no other information is available at this time.
