Band and pageantry boosters get $2,000 from King David’s Lodge
ATASCADERO — King David’s Lodge No. 209 F.&A.M. of San Luis Obispo continued its support of the public schools with a donation of $2,000 to the Atascadero High School (AHS) Band and Pageantry Boosters. King David’s Lodge is a long-standing benefactor to many public school programs throughout the county and other nonprofit philanthropic efforts, both locally and statewide.
The Masons selected the AHS Instrumental Music Programs as part of their ongoing semi-annual philanthropic drive. The AHS student musician who sent a donation letter to the Masons is a member of the Masonic youth organization, DeMolay International — one of the largest youth fraternities in the world. King David’s Past Master and DeMolay adviser Christian Marano presented the donation on behalf of the Masons.
